THE Constitutional Court has dismissed a petition by PeP leader Sean Tembo in which he was seeking a declaration that President Hakainde Hichilema’s appetite to continue travelling does not promote efficient and effective use of economic resources. The Patriots for Economic Progress (PeP) leader claimed that the President’s foreign trips, which totalled 49 in the past two years, had gobbled about K2.8 billion, but hadn’t brought any visible benefit to the nation other than provide a platform for the President to engage on a personal tour of the world.
