THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has discharged the arrest warrant issued against National Democratic Congress (NDC) leader Saboi Imboela, in a matter where she is charged with two counts of libel. And Imboela says she is on a hunger strike to raise awareness about poor prison conditions and will not eat until next Monday. She says 70 people were placed in a room meant for only 30, adding that three days felt like three years to her. On August 6, Lusaka Magistrate Sylvia Munyinya issued a bench warrant against Imboela when she failed to appear in court.
