FORMER Kasama PF MP Kelvin Sampa has been dragged to the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stealing US$5,600 and K6,600 from a Nigerian national. In this matter, Sampa is jointly charged with Richard Shula, 44, a police officer. In count one, Sampa is charged with theft Contrary to Section 272 of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia. Particulars of the offence allege that Sampa, on January 5, 2024, in Lusaka, jointly and whilst acting together with other persons unknown did steal US$5,600 and K6,600, property of Augustus Inyang Akpan.
