LIVINGSTONE Mayor Constance Muleabai appeared before the Livingstone Magistrates’ Court yesterday, facing two charges of corrupt practices. The mayor is alleged to have received a bribe to facilitate the cancellation of property rates for a farm. The matter, which was scheduled to commence yesterday, was adjourned because Senior Resident Magistrate Leah Lomadzinga Kabalata was reportedly engaged in another case.
