THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has sentenced businesswoman Faith Musonda to one month imprisonment and a K24 fine for idle and disorderly conduct after storming the residence of President Hakainde Hichilema. Musonda, through her lawyer, had told the court that she was a mother with nothing and had no intention of endangering the Head of State, whom she respects very much. This was after Musonda reversed her earlier not-guilty plea, opting instead to plead guilty before her trial could commence. In this matter, Musonda was charged with Idle and Disorderly Persons, Contrary to Section 178 (1) of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia.
