THE State has entered a nolle prosequi in a corruption matter involving former Defence permanent secretary Stardy Mwale and businessman Clever Mpoha. Last week, the State also entered a nolle prosequi in a separate case involving corruption and irregularities in the procurement of a Gulfstream G650-ER Jet. However, law enforcement officers re-arrested Mwale and five others shortly after the State entered the nolle prosequi in that case. In this current matter, Mwale and Mpoha are charged with two counts of corrupt practices.
