And Belgium has maintained the overall top position with World champions France on second position.
Zambia’s static position on the latest FIFA is attributed to the Chipolopolo’s failure to utilise the FIFA dates for international friendlies.
The Chipolopolo were scheduled to face Bafana Bafana of South Africa in an international friendly on September 7 in Johannesburg but the game was called off due to xenophobia in South Africa.
Senegal who are ranked 20th overall top the Confederation of African Football (CAF) table with reigning African champions, Algeria on 13 position.
The Desert Foxes of Algeria are Zambia’s first opponents in the Cameroon 2021 Africa Cup qualifiers.
Zambia will be away to Algeria on November 11 before hosting Zimbabwe a week later.
The top 10 overall teams are Belgium, France, Brazil, England, Portugal, Uruguay, Spain, Croatia, Colombia and Argentina.
