Swaziland coach Pieter d’Jogh has tipped Zambia to overcome South Africa next month and qualify to the 2018 CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Zambia beat Swaziland 3-0 on Saturday at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka to advance to August final round 7-0 on aggregate after collecting a 4-0 away win on July 16.
“What I saw today (Saturday) and what I saw a week ago, I believe Zambia can beat South Africa,” d’Jogh said.
Zambia will face Bafana Bafana for the final ticket to Nairobi for next year’s tournament Kenya will be hosting in January.
Bafana will be home in the first leg on August 12 before travelling to Zambia on August 19.
D’ Jogh also admitted that Swaziland were technical inferior to Zambia over both legs.
“Zambia is much too strong and much better in a lot of things technically and tactically,” d’Jogh said.
“It is a good team, good players and we had no chance against them.”
