NATIONAL rally champion Muna Singh junior is geared for the fourth consecutive title this season.
Muna said in an interview after receiving his Class A award during the Zambia Motor Sports (ZMSA) awards gala at the weekend that all his energies this season will be exerted to national championship.
He said he will not take part in the African Rally Championship (ARC) but will participate in a few competitions outside Zambia to maintain his grip.
“I know 2018 will be tough, competition look stiff with the coming back of Mohammed Essa. My brother Jassy is also another threat but I am geared for the challenge. I want to prove that I am the fastest,” he said.
Muna said he has already worked on his Subaru Impreza N7.
Despite winning the 2017 title, Muna failed finish the last leg after his car developed a fault in the first round.
“Such incidents are expected in rally but we will remain optimistic and cautious this season,” he said.
