Ghana’s biggest Football club Asante Kotoko squad has arrived in Zambia ahead of a 2018/2019 Confederation of African Football (CAF) confederations cup match against Nkana FC.
The game which will be played at Arthur Davies stadium in Kitwe at 15 hours Central African time on Sunday, will be the final match in the first leg of the group C.
Kotoko begun their journey to Zambia on Wednesday, where they left Accra for Ethiopia, and connected to a Lusaka-bound flight.
Kotoko recently beat Zambian champions ZESCO united 2-1 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Ghana.
The encounter on Sunday in the soccer frenzy city of Kitwe will prove vital for Nkana FC who intend to bounce back to winning ways following a poor performance in the domestic league.
Nkana recently lost to Power Dynamos 2-0 at home for the fifth season in a row.
Their start to the Super Division league has also been lacklustre, drawing twice and winning only once.
All teams in group C have 3 points having won once and lost once from two games played thus far.
