ZAMBIA Volleyball Association (ZAVA) General Secretary Joachim Nyoni says the nation missed the Zone VI beach volleyball final tour in Mozambique due to safety concerns amidst the storms in that country. In an interview, Monday, Nyoni said the association did not want to risk the safety of players despite receiving assurances from tournament organisers that the host city was not affected by Cyclone Freddy. The Zone VI beach games started on Sunday in Maputo and will be concluded on Wednesday.
