OVER the weekend, Shepolopolo scooped the Team of the Year gong at the Regional Annual Sports Awards (RASA) held in Manzini, Eswatini. Zambia walked away with three awards at the ceremony that saw ZNBC’s Memory Malisawa get the Sports Journalist of the Year award while Zambia was awarded the Country of the Year accolade in recognition of its efforts in the promotion of sports. The Copper Queens were up against Botswana’s 4x400m men’s relay team and the Malawi women’s national team.
