PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has led scores of soccer fans in comforting the women’s national team following its elimination from the ongoing 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. The Copper Queens have been eliminated from the World Cup after suffering two 5-0 thrashings, first against Japan in their opening game and another against Spain yesterday. The Bruce Mwape tutored side will face Costa Rica on Monday in its last group fixture. Both Zambia and Costa Rica have been eliminated while Spain and Japan progressed to the knockout stages.
