PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has called on football administrators in Zambia to foster unity and collaboration following the successful conclusion of the reconvened Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Elective Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Kabwe. The AGM saw Lusaka lawyer Keith Mweemba elected as the new FAZ president, ending Andrew Kamanga’s nine-year reign at the helm of Zambian football. Mweemba emerged victorious with a commanding 45 votes, outpacing four other contenders, including Kamanga and former FAZ General Secretary Adrian Kashala, who polled 20 and 17 votes respectively.
