A picture has emerged on social media where officers from the Copperbelt Police Crack Squad based in Ndola have posed with one of the richest Copperbelt youths.
In the photo is Spax Mining CEO surrounded by Zambia Police officers.
One of the officers remarked; “Kopala Sabala Spax Mining Muntu saana, we went away with K500 each on this day for guarding the rich young-man”.
And Copperbelt police commissioner Charity Katanga says she is investigating a report of officers that were paid to guard an individual.
In an exclusive interview with News Diggers! Katanga said she saw the pictures.
“Yes I saw the pictures and I have requested for a report from the district concerned. We will investigate,” said Katanga.
