Edgar Lungu nindoshi, NDC leader Chishimba Kambwili has charged.

And Kambwili has dared President Lungu to arrest him for calling him a thief saying he is ready to prove that fact in court.

Meanwhile, Kambwili says President Lungu insulted Michael Sata’s memory by sending his widow, Dr Christine Kaseba into the foreign service where she will be a minister’s “chola boy”.

Addressing a public meeting at Kasusuwa grounds in Mufulira, Saturday, Kambwili, who had to lean on others for support to stand saying he was still recovering from illness, charged that President Lungu was a witch.

“Indoshi tukwete lelo cino chalo ni Edgar Lungu. Indoshi iyo tukwete muli cino chalo ni Edgar Lungu. Ifwe na imwe naine tonse, tatu lemusembwisha. Abalemusembwisha ni balya abantu bonse baletila ati indhoshi nailenga tulecula… Kuamba imwe naine, tulemwebelapo Lungu ukutila ‘iwe uli indoshi! Wapwa ukutulowa. Kabili nga walowa umwana naumbi, tatwa ka kuleke. So ifwe Lungu aletu tina (The witch we have in our country is Edgar Lungu. Me and you we are not the ones accusing him. The ones telling him are those people saying that a witch is making us suffer. You and I are telling Lungu to his face that ‘you are a witch! You have bewitched us for too long and if you bewitch another one of our children we won’t let you get away with it, so he is scared of us),” Kambwili said.

Kambwili charged that the state tried to kill him with the aide of Israelites when he fell ill.

“Lungu alefwaya ukunjipaya. Lekeni milondolwele nga tamwaishiba. Elo lelo ndefwaya myebe ati fyonse mwalecita nama Israelites, nalifishiba. Pantu mulyamwine mukati muli ba OP, emo baba aba temwa Kambwili. Ba Lungu ifyo bacitile, ba OP babo baile ku hospital basanga elyo naileya pimisha BP, yalinina. Ilya bantuma ku South Africa nako ba cheking’na ati nainina elo ba eba ama Israelites, bushe uyu muntu twalamwipaya shani. Elo babeba ati ‘ifi BP ininine, mubikeni fye under pressure, alakwata stroke ninshi ayaluka cabbage, taakala kampena’. Eh palya mwamwene ndefika fye pa airport ukwabula umulandu, banjikata, papita three hours bandekelako ati mailo ukeise ku police. Ilyo naile ku police ninshi BP yandi ili 180/130 (Lungu wanted to kill me, let me tell you if you don’t know. And I want to tell you that I know everything you were doing with Israelites. “The Israelites told them that when you put a BP patient under pressure, they have a stroke and then he’ll be removed from politics. But just like Mwenya Musenge said, if God chooses you, nothing can take away from that.”

And Kambwili dared President Lungu to arrest him for branding him a thief.

“Ba PF balalanda ati Kambwili ala tuka Lungu. Ine nshituka, nensele nshashishiba. Ine echo naishiba ku landa ifishinka. Ine nshaba tukapo ba Lungu. Bushe umuntu usende ichintu ca mwine nga tabamupele ninshi balemwita ati shani? Nomba nga waita ati kabolala ninshi wamutuka? (PF says that I like insulting Lungu but I don’t insult, I don’t even know any insults. What I know is to tell the truth. When you get something which isn’t yours and you don’t return it what are you called? So when I say he is a thief then I have insulted?)” Kambwili asked.

“Ba Lungu bailibile namayo, muka mfwilwa, eh bali ba lawyer, K39,000, baba twala naku chilye, babasanga no mulandu noku beba ati baka mulipile. So nga natila ati ba Lungu nibakabolala, ninshi nabatukila pesa? Pantu ishina iyaku bula icintu cha mwine, nga takupele ninshi niwe pompwe! Uli mun’go. So nga ukutila ati ba Lungu ban’go, bakabolala, mulandu? I am 100 per cent guilty. (When Lungu was a lawyer, he stole K39,000 from a widow and she took him to court and the court ordered him to pay back. So if I say Lungu is a thief how have I insulted? When you get something without permission you are a thief, a criminal! So if saying Lungu is a thief is a crime, then I am guilty.)”

He said he was ready to prove that President Lungu was a thief in court.

Nkaye fumya nama judgements ati ifi teine namukata ati ni pompwe. Echo nsakameneko fye, nafumya ubukabolala kuli banamayo ba mukanfwila aleta mukwiba ichuma icha chalo (and I have told Mr Lungu, if I have insulted you, the courts are there, take me to court. When I go and defend myself in court I will tell the judge that I call him a thief then I will remove judgments supporting my claim. I will say it is not me who caught him stealing, it is the court. What scares me is that he is no longer targeting widows but he has now started stealing our country’s resources),” Kambwili said.

Meanwhile, Kambwili said it was an insult to send Dr Kaseba into foreign service.

“Bushe kuti waya bula umuntu uwali first lady kuli president uwapangile icilonganino, waya mutuma ati ambassador? Lesa nakulomba, pela Lungu infundate na amano atampe ukutontokanyako…bu ambassador bu chola boy waba minister. Ba minister nga bafika eko baleya, ba Ambassador balebasendela ifyola, kubatwala ku hotel noku bula motoka bendamo, bacita surrender. Lungu nautuka ba Kaseba elo ba Sata eko balala bale pilibuka. (how can you get a former first lady and appoint her ambassador? Dear Lord, I ask you to give Lungu some morals and wisdom so that he can start thinking straight. Being an ambassador means being ministers’ servant. When a minister arrives in a country, it is the ambassador who carries that persons luggage, takes them to their hotel room and gives up their car. Lungu has insulted Dr Kaseba and Sata must be turning in his grave),” said Kambwili.

Bushe kwena ba Kaesba, baye ku France, Dora akayeko, aletuka ba Sata, baka sende suitcase? Iwe Lungu nga bacita ifyo ba Esther ukaunfwa bwino? (I cannot blame Dr Kaseba for accepting because she doesn’t like confrontations. But what Lungu has done is to insult Sata. So when [Information Minister] Dora [Siliya] arrives in France, the person who used to insult Sata, Dr Kaseba will carry her suit case? How would Lungu feel if people did that to Esther?)”
