NEWLY-elected Mwansabombwe PF member of parliament Kampampi Kabaso says it is time for healing in the constituency to get rid of wrangles that engulfed the area over the past nine years.
In an interview, Kabaso said following his triumph in last Thursday’s polls, it was now time to work, adding that he owed the victory to Mwansabombwe constituents.
“I owe it to the people of Mwansabombwe, it’s now time to work, definitely. Looking at what we have passed through for the past nine years…there have been so many wrangles here and there, and as a constituency, we need to heal, forgiveness, togetherness and move on,” Kabaso said.
And he pledged to continue the developmental agenda of the late area member of parliament, Rodgers Mwewa.
“Developmental plans apply if I would say the plans, which are in place, the only thing is continuity, where the Honourable MP left from…that’s where I will pick it up from until I end the term,” said Kabaso.
The PF last week emerged victorious in the Mwansabombwe by-election, which was necessitated by Mwewa’s passing after succumbing to COVID-19.
