POLICE have charged and arrested former PF cadre Maxwell Chongu for unlawfully wounding two men in 2017 using a machete. In a statement, Wednesday, Police spokesperson Rae Hamoonga said the two victims were attacked by the accused in North-mead area near Total filling Station. He added that Chongu was in police custody and would appear in court soon. “Police have charged and arrested M/Maxwell Chongu aged 40 of house number 1223 Sugar Street Avondale for two counts of unlawful wounding.
