NATIONAL Action for Quality Education in Zambia (NAQUEZ) executive director Aaron Chansa says the Ministry of Education should ensure that the ban on the sale of uniforms in public schools extends to all schools in the country. In an interview, Chansa said the ban was long overdue as uniforms sold in schools were expensive. “That is the way to go and actually DEBS Lusaka is late because this practice has been going on especially in Lusaka for so many years. I hope that the headteachers in Lusaka will heed to that caution because forcing people to buy those uniforms from the school is against the law. The sad part is that the Competition Consumer Protection Commission has been very dormant....
