FORMER South African president Thabo Mbeki says current leaders should emulate Zambia’s first republican president Dr Kenneth Kaunda by becoming true Pan Africanists. Speaking after laying wreaths on Dr Kaunda’s grave at Embassy Park, Wednesday, Mbeki said Zambia’s first republican president played a central role in terms of the liberation struggle of South Africa. “President Kaunda was really very central in terms of the struggle for the liberation of South Africa.
