VETERAN politician Vernon Mwaanga says contrary to some sentiments, the just ended Africa Union (AU) Mid-Year Coordination Meeting wasn’t poorly attended. In a statement, Mwaanga said the summit, which others called a flop, was not an ordinary one which is normally attended by Heads of State. He said the summit only involved a few countries which were member states of the African Union Commission Bureau. “I would like to congratulate and commend President Hakainde Hichilema for successfully hosting the special AU Summit in Lusaka.
