MINISTRY of Education Permanent Secretary for technical services Joel Kamoko says his ministry expects every serious province to score a minimum of 80 percent pass rate in this year’s examinations because government has employed enough teachers. In an interview, Friday, Kamoko warned teachers against engaging in examination malpractices, saying such people would not only be dismissed but put behind bars. “The Ministry of Education wishes to acknowledge the very fact that the third term is now here, and the best time when we assess the children to be able to tell their performance.
