FORMER home affairs minister Stephen Kampyongo says government should see to it that there are tight security measures as it waives Visa requirements for selected countries, saying the action may have its own ramifications. Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security Jack Mwiimbu recently announced the waiver of Visa requirements for selected countries like the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, China, Japan, the Gulf States, the European Union, among others. Mwiimbu said nationals of the said countries would not require a Visa to enter Zambia, but added that the waiver did not guarantee entry into the country as the final decision rests with the immigration officer at the port of entry.
