PF presidential aspirant Emmanuel Mwamba says law enforcement agencies’ actions of scandalising their earlier agreements with suspects have undermined the amnesty process and recovery of assets suspected to be proceeds of crime. On Friday, Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) Director General Mary Chirwa said offering criminals amnesty was not effective, adding that investigative wings just needed to up their game in order to catch the offenders.
