SOUTH African businessman Mcebisi Mlonzi has been identified as the co-mastermind of the gold heist that was thwarted by the Drug Enforcement Commission at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport on Monday. And sources within the investigative wings have told News Diggers that the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) is investigating allegations into claims by the foreign suspects that the Zambian businessmen involved in the gold scam had already taken out about US$5 million from the private jet before the whole transaction was exposed and thwarted.
