STATE House Chief Communications Specialist Clayson Hamasaka has failed to state whether or not espionage-accused Francis Makai-Mateyo is his workmate. Makai-Mateyo is charged alongside five other Zambians and five Egyptians for espionage in a matter which commenced after a foiled gold transaction at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport. According to the indictment before court, Makayi-Mateyo’s profession is listed as “security officer”, but some government critics have been referring to him as a State House official.
