PF member Yamfwa Mukanga has cautioned the party leadership against making appointments which are unconstitutional, arguing that only the president can appoint a Secretary General. PF National Chairman Davies Chama last week Wednesday stormed a caucus which was being chaired by acting party president Given Lubinda and told him that the appointments he had made were illegal. Lubinda recently appointed Raphael Nakacinda as party secretary general, Bowman Lusambo as Mobilisation Chairperson, Emmanuel Mwamba as Information and Publicity Chairperson, among other appointments. But commenting on this in an interview, Mukanga said there would be serious repercussions if the party did things outside the constitution.
