THE Transparency International Zambia (TI-Z) has welcomed the appointment of a new FIC Director General, saying the absence of a substantive office bearer at such an institution was rendering a disservice to the anti-corruption agenda. Last week, the Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) Board appointed Clement Kapalu as the new Director General with immediate effect.
