MUFULIRA Central PF member of Parliament Golden Mwila has welcomed government’s plans to take administrative action against constituencies whose 2023 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) utilisation was low. And Nalolo PNUP member of parliament Imanga Wamunyima says there’s currently a power struggle of who implements CDF between District Commissioners and members of parliament, particularly in Councils with opposition law makers. Meanwhile, Kankoyo UPND member of parliament Heartson Mabeta says there is need for government to ensure that local authorities are equipped with sufficient staff to efficiently implement CDF projects.
