FREE Press Initiative (FPI) founder Joan Chirwa says journalists are not entirely free due to some laws which inhibit press freedom in the country. And Chirwa says this year’s Press Freedom Day theme, “A Press for the Planet: Journalism in the Face of the Environmental Crisis”, challenges journalists to amplify stories on climate change, bio diversity loss and environmental issues.
