ROAD Transport and Safety Agency Chief Executive Officer Amon Mweemba has justified the firing of three directors and a procurement specialist, saying the agency has stagnated for quite a while and needs renewal to move in a positive direction. Those recently fired at RTSA include Alinani Msisya, the Director for Road Safety; Joseph Mumba, the Director for Transport; Mundi Chibale, the Director of Human Resources; and Jane Mumba, a Procurement Specialist. In an interview, Tuesday, Mweemba said he had worked at the agency for a year and that they had made very small strides.
