PF faction president Miles Sampa has dissolved the opposition party’s central committee. Meanwhile, Chama South PF member of parliament Davison Mung’andu has described Sampa and former president Edgar Lungu’s reconciliation as a relationship of convenience which is not in the interest of the party. In a letter dated July 2, 2024, Sampa said the new appointments to the central committee, in an acting basis, would be announced soon.
