GOVERNANCE activist Rueben Lifuka says revelations in the 2023 FIC Trends Report show a lack of progress in the fight against corruption and how government has failed to comprehensively address the issue. He has urged President Hakainde Hichilema to remove from office all those who are frustrating the corruption fight. And Lifuka says government should urgently introduce a bill in Parliament to amend the Parliamentary and Ministerial Code of Conduct, to strengthen provisions on assets and income disclosure, as well as lifestyle audits, which should include the President and all state officers.
