THE dream of an investor from Uzbekistan to build a hospital along Church Road in Lusaka has been partially shattered after a lawyer and two agents collected close to K5 million from him and his company, Viva Med Hospital, for the purchase of the land but failed to honour contractual obligations. Rustamjon Musaev, the managing director of Viva Med Hospital, has lodged a complaint with LAZ against lawyer Frank Tembo of Frank Tembo and Partners, who was representing the vendor, Gift Kaoma. He argues that Tembo transferred K3,350,000 to unknown bank accounts at the request of his client, even before the vendor could give vacant possession of the property situated at the corner of Bwinjimfumu and Church Road in Lusaka....
