MINISTRY of Home Affairs Permanent Secretary Dickson Matembo has refuted reports that acting Registrar of Societies Mary Mulenga has resigned. In an interview, Saturday, Matembo clarified that Mulenga went on vacation leave a month ago and another person was appointed to act in that position. He also said one could only resign from a position if they were confirmed. “What happens in government is that when you’re acting, are you appointed? So resign from where?
