LUSAKA lawyer Jonas Zimba has advised Chief Justice Mumba Malila against publicly attacking erring lawyers, saying the best he can do is to dialogue with them. And Zimba says the CJ cannot stop lawyers from commenting on a judgement once it is rendered, as it becomes public. On Monday, Chief Justice Malila said some lawyers were tarnishing the good image of the legal profession by arguing cases in the media, stating that such individuals lack both principles and good ethics. Justice Malila also urged legal practitioners not to turn themselves into skilled liars, dissemblers, manipulators and propagandists.
