HOME Affairs and Internal Security Minister Jack Mwiimbu has announced that Zambia has waived visa requirements for nationals from 53 countries, which include Argentina, Turkey, Ukraine, Israel, Morocco and Liberia. Others are Greenland, Sandwich Islands, Madagascar, Switzerland, Panama, Virgin Islands, Vatican City State, among others. Mwiimbu says the decision has been made to create an environment that attracts investors and creates employment opportunities for citizens. Meanwhile, Zambia Tourism Agency CEO Matongo Matamwandi says the country has recorded 1.9 million international arrivals as of November 2024.
