KANCHIBIYA PF MP Sunday Chanda has commended Health Minister Elijah Muchima for taking a bold stance against corruption within the Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency (ZAMMSA). Chanda says the irregularities surrounding the procurement of ambulances have undermined Zambia’s health sector. On Tuesday, Muchima said Ace Pharmaceuticals, the company contracted to deliver some of the 156 ambulances under CDF, also had a contract with the health ministry to supply 60 ambulances, but was failing to meet contractural obligations.
