THE Afrobarometer, a pan-African non-partisan survey, has revealed that 54 percent of Zambians say they are fairly or very satisfied with how democracy is working in Zambia, while 41 percent say they are not satisfied at all. The Afrobarometer team in Zambia, led by the Institute of Economic and Social Research (INESOR), a research wing of the University of Zambia, interviewed a random sample of 1,200 Zambian adults between July 8 and 28, 2024, to get views on the state of democracy and political freedom in Zambia.
