FINANCE and National Planning Minister Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane has raised an alarm over the rate at which Zambia’s population is growing. Dr Musokotwane has highlighted the need to prepare for the future, as the current economy cannot sustain Zambia’s rapidly growing population. Meanwhile, the minister says information published in the revised 2022 Census Summary Report is accurate and credible. Last Tuesday during the launch of the report, Civil Service Commission Chairperson Dr Choolwe Beyani had a heated verbal altercation with ZamStats Board Chairperson Oliver Chinganya over the report.
