THE Zambian Civil Liberties Union (ZCLU) has expressed concern over the non disclosure of incomes and liabilities by some Ministers and Members of Parliament. ZCLU Executive Director Isaac Mwanza says this is making it difficult to know how much public officials earn for them to be increasing their asset portfolio figures. Recently, a Consortium of Civil Society Organisations revealed an 18 per cent increase in compliance levels for asset declarations among Members of Parliament (MPs), Speakers, and Ministers during the period 2021 – 2024.
