A 15-YEAR-OLD boy of Mazabuka has died after being electrocuted while on a bird hunting expedition. Southern Province Police Commanding Officer Auxensio Daka confirmed the incident, stating that the deceased, identified as Namata Namata, left his parents’ home on Monday, March 17, around 12:00 hours with two friends, aged 8 and 9, to hunt birds at Kalonga Farms. He narrated that during the hunt, Namata hit a bird using catapults, but it got stuck on electrical cable connections on the pole.
