MOURNERS booed Vice-President Mutale Nalumango yesterday during Edith Nawakwi’s burial as she laid wreaths on the late FDD leader’s grave. A video circulating online shows the booing incident, with some mourners shouting “2026 kuya” and “Signal mama, they are here”. However, the Vice-President laid the wreaths and returned to her seat, undisturbed. The mourners also shouted, “shame on you, 2026 kuya, those who brought [them] are here, who are you?” On the other hand, Chiengi independent MP Given Katuta shared another video where she alleged that UPND cadres were causing confusion at the burial site.
