MINISTER of Green Economy and Environment Mike Mposha says a discharge of leach residue from Sino Metals Leach Zambia Limited’s tailings storage facility in Chambishi polluted the Chambishi stream, as well as the Kafue and Mwambashi rivers. Mposha said following the incident, the Zambia Environmental Management Agency (ZEMA) issued an Environmental Restoration Order to the company.
