HOME Affairs and Internal Security Minister Jack Mwiimbu says the reduction in public sector corruption cases, as highlighted in the FIC Trends Report, underscores the effectiveness of the UPND’s anti-corruption measures. Mwiimbu says the results show that government is making progress in the war against financial crime. The 2024 Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) Trends Report has reported a decrease in public sector corruption cases, with analysed reports dropping from 55 in 2023 to 40 in 2024.
