A LOT has been said about the government appointments that President Hakainde Hichilema has made in recent weeks. People have complained about some “undeserving” individuals being given jobs in the UPND government, when they did nothing to support the party during election campaigns. Others have alleged that some people who have been appointed are crooks who should be kept very far from government positions. An observation has also been made that some of the people who sacrificed their jobs and others who risked their lives for the party have either been left out or kicked out of the positions they previously held.
