WE are continuing with the discussion around the propensity by the Drug Enforcement Commission to seize assets from people without investigating, because in our view, this far exceeds the law requirement. What the UPND government has done to Mr Ndambo is embarrassing and it is an outright abuse of power. In fact, the Drug Enforcement Commission and the UPND government must be ashamed for chasing away people who mean well for the country while shielding criminals in government. Law enforcers who are after justice and accountability don’t rush into property grabbing, they first take time to investigate.
