EVERY year, when the Heroes and Unity weekend comes around, we like to reflect on some heroes in real time, so to say. During the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic, our heroes were undeniably the health workers who put their lives on the line to fight the aggressive virus at a time when vaccines were nowhere near developed and very little was known about it. Borders were restricted, people were panicking and got to hide in their homes; but not the health workers – they had to work vigorous shifts to fight not just Covid but other ailments too.
