AFTER the Ministry of Energy held a press conference on Friday to try and explain the fuel supply scandal that our newspaper has been writing about, the Zambia Daily Mail quoted Devon Oil suggesting a claim that the media had misrepresented facts. Our understanding of the press statement from Devon Oil was that they were asking the media to be patient. We did not understand it to mean that they were disputing what we reported.
