THE Joint Investigations Team (JIT) yesterday conducted a search at former health minister Dr Chitalu Chilufya’s residence in Lusaka’s Eureka area. And Dr Chilufya’s lawyer says the officers were searching for precious minerals and illegal items. The JIT started searching the premises at around 06:00 hours and only finished around 12:00 hours. And speaking to journalists, Dr Chilufya’s lawyer said nothing was found after the officers concluded with the search. “[They were searching] for precious minerals and illegal items.
